LTT in Turkey as part of the "Career counseling - practical approach" project of the Erasmus+ program
On November 8-11, 2023, in Konya, Turkey, another meeting of the partners of the „Career Counseling Practical Approach” project from the Erasmus+ program was held. The meeting, which took place at the Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu AİHL school, was attended by: representatives of ZSP in Chojna, members of the Douzelage Association in Chojna, representatives of the PUP „POMOT” company in Chojna, representatives of the Smart Idea company from Slovenia, representatives of the Çeşitlilik İçinde Birliktelik Derneği association from Turkey , representatives of Kőszeg Lutheran High School and members of the Kőszeg Town Twinning Association from Hungary, and representatives of Scoala Gimnaziala Petru Musat Siret from Romania.
The main goal of LTT was to summarize the activities carried out so far as part of the project, provide training on creating videos and their topics, discuss a set of tools for parents, plan the dates for the implementation of subsequent activities, and set the dates for the next mobilities. Events to popularize the project were also planned.
The meeting participants visited the school and took part in lesson observations. A big surprise at school was the so-called „self-service shop”. In several places in the school, there were shelves with products for sale with prices. Students „buy” products, leaving money on the shelf.
The mobility program also included cultural attractions. During our stay in Konya, we visited the city and the Museum of Mevlena, a great Turkish thinker and mystic, founder of the order of dancing dervishes.
The participants also took part in the Whirling Dervishes Ceremony at the Cultural Center. Mevlany. Dervish dance is a form of meditation whose goal is to achieve a spiritual trance. The dance ceremony was an amazing and mystical event.
